Thick Bed Depth Allows Dewatering of Fine Particles
The High Speed Dewatering Vibrating
Screen with feed end declined at 45° and
the main deck inclined at 5° allows a thick
bed to build and trap small particles. This
allows the water to drain without carrying the
small particles through the openings. Emf-Industries has combined the proven unbalanced motor Mechanism
with this body style to produce one of the best
Dewatering Screens on the market today.
Electro magnetic flux designed
to perfect this simple drive arrangement on
larger horizontal and inclined de-watering screens.
This earns effort of development has resulted
in tremendous advantage as for as reduced maintenance,
compactness and simplicity are concerned besides
the simplicity of the drive mechanism that produces
a linear (straight line) motion while developing
high acceleration ("g" forces). This
increased acceleration and reverse incline deck
configuration is most suitable for dewatering
applications. Our dewatering screens may also
be fitted with optional electric counter-weighted
motors and many other features have been incorporated
to provide a machine which is specifically designed
for heavy duty application, long life and low
operating and maintenance costs at a competitive
price.
Advantages
- No external drives, with v-belts
or cordon shaft
- No oil bath oscillators, with
synchronizing gears and oil leaks
- No Motor support stand, or
overhead structure for motor support
- No snubbers-the screens -mounted
drive has eliminated the need for snubbers
to reduce damage to vee-belts and external
motors during the large oscillations that
normally occur during stopping.
- Due to the absence of gears
and vee-belts, the units use less power than
conventional drives.
- Minimized maintenance time
due to simple arrangement of drive
- Compactness-screens can be
positioned very closely with a minimum of
space wastage.
